Shane and Ilya are eternal rivals on the ice. But behind closed doors, they share a secret that could cost them everything if the world were to find out. Shane tells himself that they aren't in love, but merely in a relationship of mutual convenience, even as he finds himself helpless against the strength of their unbreakable bond. Ilya, meanwhile, revels in their dangerous trysts. For a decade, their lives led nowhere, spent simply waiting for the end. That is, until the two of them finally realized their true feelings...

A feverish passion known only to the two of them - a top-secret romance for the ages! The original novel that inspired the smash-hit hockey drama that took North America by storm!
